The songs are occasionally shorter and the arrangements a little more traditional, but don't mistake that for conventional. His passing profoundly affected the band and changed the direction of the album they were creating.\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\n    Loss became impossible to separate from the music.\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\n    Rather than offering easy answers about grief, the songs wrestle with what it actually means to continue living after someone important is gone. Again and again, one idea emerged from that struggle: \u003cstrong\u003epeace\u003c\/strong\u003e.\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\n    That search for peace became intertwined with images of nature - a quiet lake, trees, sunlight and a place removed from the constant noise and distractions of everyday life. It became an image not only of earthly peace, but of finding space to experience the presence of God in the midst of grief.\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\n    That imagery runs throughout \u003cem\u003eBoundless\u003c\/em\u003e and ultimately becomes literal.
