MxPx has been around for awhile now, and Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo is their 3rd album and follow-up to "Life in General". It amazes me how many songs are on their first 3 albums: Pokinatcha has 21, Life in General has 17 and Slowly... has 16 which means by 1998, MxPx already had 54 songs to choose from for set lists at concerts! I originally bought this album because of the song "The Downfall of Western Civilization" but found more solid tracks like "Fist vs. Tact", "Self Serving With a Purpose", "Cold and All Alone" and album closer "The Theme Fiasco" which is one of the best MxPx songs overall.
