The vinyl and CD editions are not simply the same collection in different formats.
The double-vinyl editions add more than 33 minutes of bonus material, including two recordings from the Heed The Warning demo and three live soundboard performances from Bodegraven, Holland, recorded September 18, 1992.
The deluxe 2-CD edition contains 15 bonus tracks. In addition to the two Heed The Warning demo recordings on Disc One, the entire second disc features different archival material: five live soundboard recordings from Eindhoven on October 11, 1992, and eight remarkably clear recordings from a 1992 practice tape.
Some song titles appear on more than one edition, but many are different performances from different sources. Collectors will need both CD and vinyl to experience the complete archive assembled for this anniversary campaign.

Seventh Angel released Lament For The Weary only one year after its debut album, The Torment. Listeners expecting another direct blast of aggressive thrash instead encountered an album that was slower, darker, more brooding, and considerably more complex.
The band had not abandoned thrash metal. The speed, aggression, and sharp-edged guitar work remained, but they were now joined by crushing doom riffs, haunting melodic passages, and a greater willingness to let the songs breathe. The vinyl gatefold and CD booklet include two newly written 2026 firsthand reflections from members of the classic lineup.
Ian Arkley discusses the concept behind Lament For The Weary, the rewriting of its lyrics, the difficult circumstances surrounding the band, and how his personal outlook has changed during the decades since the album was recorded.
The CD booklet contains Arkley’s more extensive account of the 1992 practice tape. He recalls that it was recorded quietly in his bedroom at his parents’ home in Halesowen in the West Midlands. The band used small amplifiers and an unamplified practice kit while kittens wandered beneath their feet and family members occasionally interrupted the session. Despite those humble circumstances, the tape preserved early lyrics and arrangements from a turbulent period of transition.
Simon “Si” Bibby contributes a second new reflection about leaving Seventh Angel, the heartbreak of hearing the completed album after his departure, and his eventual return to recording and laughing with his former bandmates.
These are not recycled promotional notes. They are personal contributions written in 2026 that add valuable context to the music and archival recordings.
