After all these years, I finally get Lightforce 'Mystical Thieves' on CD! Also it includes the earlier cassette only release 'Battle Zone' and a really early demo tape. By today's standards it's kind of cheezy, but this was one of the big time pioneers of early Christian metal. It was Steve Rowe's first major band. Before his Mortification fame, Light Force was just straight forward no frills heavy power metal. Imagine Iron Maiden and Saxon on a really low recording budget, with soapbox evangelism, and you got this band.
