The melody inherent in this album is breathtaking to say the least. The first listen is relatively non-descript, because the notes in their riffs are unpredictable and sound abnormal in their compositional pre-climaxes and conclusions. Compositions almost sound ludicrous, but the more I listen to this album, the more I cannot believe the indwelling sadness in these overflowing climactic melodies. Alot of the melodies are tremolo melodies with midpaced drum work, which climax and are sped up, adding to the climax with a more fast paced rhythm of the former. There is also alot of transitions to new rhythms and bridges. This is true melo-death. Add this to your collection and prepare to be stricken and awed. Apostisy is a Christian band.
