LUMINARIA - ARCHE (*NEW-CD, 2005 Bombworks) Gothic Metal ala Virgin Black, Saviour Machine, mid period Deliverance
CUSTOMER REVIEW
Gothic metal fans should absolutely love this album. Its dark and very intense sounds should aboslutely hook the listener's ears from beginning to end. These polish metalheads have definitely come onto something very good here with this 8-track album. In a world dominated by poppy, untalented commercial bands like Linkin Park, Korn, and the like, It's nice to see that somebody out there actually has the courage to play metal the way it deserves to be played: Loud, uncompromising, and melodic. The highlights are ''Irmao'' [The best song on here and it is very catchy and highly addictive], ''Lust To Imprison'', and ''World Built On Sand.'' If you like gothic metal bands like Virgin Black, Type O Negative [Whose vocalist this band's vocalist sounds dead-on like], Or even Cradle Of Filth, This album should put you in awe. My only problem with this album is that its only 8 tracks long! If and when Luminaria release another album, I'll be sure to pick it up.
