Galactic Cowboys – What Planet Are You From?
HEAVY METAL MEETS PROGRESSIVE ROCK!
Few bands have ever sounded quite like Galactic Cowboys. Since their early days in Houston, Texas, they have blended the heaviness of Metallica, the adventurous musical spirit of Rush, and the rich vocal harmonies often associated with King's X and The Beatles.
What Planet Are You From? continues that tradition with powerful guitar work, intricate rhythms, memorable melodies, and the band's characteristic mix of heaviness and sophistication.
Featuring original members Ben Huggins, Monty Colvin, and Dane Sonnier, the album was independently released on the band's own Cosmic Outpost Records label following a successful fan-supported Kickstarter campaign.
A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY SIMMONS
The album features the final studio recordings of longtime drummer Johnny Simmons, who passed away after completing his drum tracks. His unmistakable playing remains an essential part of the Galactic Cowboys sound, and this album stands as a lasting tribute to his musical legacy.
