Side 1:
Interview part 1

Side 2:
Interview part 2

This is a bit of an oddity for those that are not familiar with the weirdness that is the Evangelical subculture. You see, Christian parents were always jumping to conclusions about the evilness of heavy metal. Well, so were non-Christian parents. But Christian parents were skeptical that heavy metal could be played by “real” Christians. So this tape sets out to figure out if Stryper really were Christian or not. During the whole interview, the brothers keep talking about having an open mind and how they are approaching this music without bias. Of course, this gives the feeling that they are about to have this huge “but here is why the music is really evil…” moment, but that never comes. They leave it up to the listener to decide by finally giving the pros and cons at the end. But its kind of obvious they think Stryper is okay throughout the whole tape, even if they don’t like the style. It’s an inside look at how weird the evangelical subculture can get at times. This is really more of a documentary than just an interview; as they go through some history of Christian rock; play song clips from Stryper and other bands; mix in different interviews from not just the band, but also people around the band; and add their own commentary through out.
