Originally released on Metal Blade Records, Indulgence (1987) expanded the band’s early thrash foundation into more progressive territory. The riffs grew tighter and more technical. The structures became more ambitious. The atmosphere turned more sinister. Yet the theatrical volatility that defined Nasty Savage from the beginning remained fully intact.

Paired here with the 1988 Abstract Reality EP, this definitive edition captures the band at a critical moment in Florida metal history—bridging the gap between raw mid-80s thrash and the darker extremity that would soon define the region.

Nasty Savage’s early appearance on Metal Massacre VI helped establish them as serious players in the American underground. By the time of Indulgence, their influence was already taking root locally. Members of Morbid Angel and Obituary have cited Nasty Savage as part of the early Florida foundation, and drummer Curtis Beeson would later perform with Death, further cementing the band’s place in the region’s lineage.
