After making an impressive entrance with their 2024 debut Whispers Between Worlds, Memphis progressive rock quartet EchoVerse returns with an ambitious sophomore album that takes the band's melodic, spiritual, and progressive instincts even further.
Fall Towards The Sky delivers approximately 52 minutes of progressive rock across seven substantial compositions. EchoVerse balances the technical musicianship and extended arrangements prog fans expect with strong melodies and songs that remain accessible even as the band explores bigger musical ideas.
EchoVerse features Kyle “KG” Graves on lead vocals, Doug Bowers on keyboards, bass, guitars and vocals, Rob Perez on rhythm and lead guitars, and Kyle Fagala on drums and background vocals. Together, the quartet brings considerable instrumental firepower without sacrificing the melodies and lyrical depth at the center of the songs.
Opener “Radical Rebirth” launches the album with a powerful statement of awakening, transformation, and breaking free from complacency. From there, “Philosophy Abounds” wrestles with questions of truth, belief, doubt, and the search for something beyond ourselves.
