Jet Circus takes its hard rock and metal foundation into a completely different world on Dance or Die, a 2-CD collection of 19 Industrial / Dance Rock & Metal remixes finally released after approximately two decades in the vault.
The project traces back to the period following Look At Death Now. Rather than simply creating a handful of alternate mixes, Jet Circus developed an ambitious full-scale remix project built around transforming the band's heavy rock material through industrial rhythms, electronic programming, dance beats, and radically different production approaches.
Fourteen remix producers from around the world participated, resulting in 19 tracks spread across two CDs. Several songs appear in multiple forms, but these are not simply minor variations. Different producers were given the opportunity to reinterpret the material in their own styles.
“Man Rules” alone appears in five different versions, remixed by Ex-Cito, Dead 2 Life, The Echoing Green, Cortex, and Vivid Prophet. “Godless Happiness” receives treatments from Paradoxx, Cortex, and Timo Rozendal, while “Look At Death Now,” “Lizzard Love,” and “One Dime Scapegoat” also receive multiple interpretations.
The result moves between industrial metal, dance-rock, electronica, club rhythms, and heavy rock while retaining the guitar-driven personality of Jet Circus. Heavy riffs, bass grooves, aggressive vocals, electronic textures, programmed beats, and hard rock musicianship collide throughout the two-disc set.
Fans of Rammstein, Mortal, Celldweller, Circle of Dust, Argyle Park, and Brainchild will recognize the musical territory, but Dance or Die remains firmly connected to the distinctive personality of Jet Circus.
Originally created in the mid-2000s, the project remained unreleased for approximately 20 years before Girder Records finally brought it out of the vault for an official physical release in 2026.
