With the release of the iconic 2 CD Anatomy of A Melancholy the band explored full on doom metal paired with a second disc of medieval doom folk of the highest caliber. Instead of one release featuring two styles, My Silent Wake is simultaneously releasing one album of metal (Silver Under Midnight CD) and one album of acoustic folk-doom (Preservation Restoration Reconstruction CD). With 2013?s Silver Under Midnight the band brings an all new doom metal CD packaged by Bombworks Records in a brilliant 6 panel digipak. The metal album, Silver Under Midnight is the band?s best of their long and historic career featuring brilliant production and a special guest appearance from Greg Chandler of funeral doom legends, Esoteric. The album also features the talents of Martin Bowes of industrial legends, Attrition. The whole thing has been in the writing stages since the 2010 tour with In Vain and was recorded in only 4 days (not including mixing) at The Priory in Birmingham UK where many doom albums have been recorded including Pantheist and The Prophecy. Known for epic, progressive doom tracks, this album features the band?s shortest metal track ever with ?The Last Man? clocking in at under four minutes ? punk bands better watch out!
