Before they became one of Finland’s most respected death-metal exports, Torture Killer began as a group of devoted fans paying tribute to the brutal groove of Six Feet Under. Originally performing as a Six Feet Under cover band, the group quickly evolved into something far more powerful. Their crushing riffs and undeniable chemistry eventually caught the attention of Chris Barnes himself—the iconic voice of Six Feet Under and former Cannibal Corpse frontman—who stepped in to handle vocals on their second album, Swarm!

Released in 2006 through Metal Blade Records, Swarm! captured lightning in a bottle: the raw intensity of Finland’s underground death-metal scene combined with Barnes’ unmistakable, venomous growl. Unlike their early days as a cover act, every track on Swarm! is original, delivering a relentless barrage of groove-driven death metal.
