TOURNIQUET – Vanishing Lessons (Pathogenic Records, 2011 Remastered CD)
CD • REMASTERED • Includes 6 Bonus Tracks
About the Album
Originally released in 1994, Vanishing Lessons marked a major turning point for Tourniquet—shifting from the dense medical-terminology thrash of earlier records into a more accessible heavy metal / hard rock direction, without losing the band’s signature intelligence, precision, and intensity.
This era also introduced Luke Easter on lead vocals, bringing a powerful, melodic edge to the band’s sound.
The album spawned fan favorites like “Twilight” (a CCM rock radio hit) and “Bearing Gruesome Cargo,” which also received an official music video (later included on the band’s Pushin’ Broom VHS).
2011 Remastered Edition (What you’re getting)
This Pathogenic Records remastered edition expands the original album with 6 bonus tracks, including live recordings (2000/2002) and 1994 demos, giving collectors both the classic studio experience and a deeper archival look at the era.
