Originally released through Stormspell Records and its Dark Lore imprint in January 2014, Sleeping With Evil is a seven-track EP that captures Vindicator's devotion to old-school speed and thrash metal. This is music built around aggressive riffing, relentless energy, and the unmistakable character of the underground metal scene.
Fronted by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Vic Stown, the group features James J. LaRue on lead guitar, Ed Stephens on bass, and Jesse Stown on drums. Together, they deliver a muscular, uncompromising attack inspired by the classic thrash tradition, while maintaining their own distinctive personality.
The EP opens with the brief instrumental "The Succubus", setting the stage for the title track, "Sleeping With Evil." From there, Vindicator launches into the wonderfully titled "Hockey Stick Vengeance" and "New Clear Assault: End of an Error." The combination of sharp riffs, frantic rhythms, and aggressive vocals recalls the era when thrash bands competed to push heaviness and speed to their limits.

The recording was produced by Vindicator, with engineering and mixing handled by guitarist James J. LaRue. Mastering was completed by Thomas W. Bethel.
