Zur Gabriel – Demos 1985–1986
2026 Remastered CD Import
Only 30 copies available.
Originally recorded in 1985 and 1986, these two complete demos have long circulated as underground Christian metal folklore. Now, for the first time ever, they’ve been officially remastered and reissued on CD by Lost Jewel Records in Spain.
If you love discovering lost 80s Christian metal gems before the rest of the market catches on, this is exactly that kind of release.
We were only able to import 30 copies.
When they’re gone — they’re gone.
This is classic mid-80s melodic metal from California — powerful vocals, soaring leads, and that unmistakable European-influenced shred energy.
For fans of:
⚡ Yngwie Malmsteen
⚡ Riot
⚡ Rainbow
There is also strong indication that James/Jamie Salters (later of The Brave) played on this early demo material — adding another layer of historical interest for Christian rock collectors.

Tony and James tried to soldier on, and in the fall of 1986 recorded a new demo on a 4 track cassette with drummer Andy Bacon. This demo was basically just to float around to find another guitarist, It was record in a weekend in Tony’s garage.
Only a few weeks later James Salters was offered a vocalist position in the “The Brave” and a subsequent recording deal, so Zur Gabriel was over.
