TULSA METALCORE AT FULL INTENSITY!

Some albums don't waste time introducing themselves. They simply come out swinging. The Agony Scene's Get Damned is one of those records.

Originally released through Century Media Records in 2007, Get Damned was the third full-length album from Tulsa, Oklahoma's THE AGONY SCENE.

Following their self-titled debut and 2005's The Darkest Red, the band returned with a faster, harder, more metallic approach. The result was an album overflowing with thrash-inspired guitar riffs, ferocious breakdowns, relentless drumming, and Mike Williams' unmistakably abrasive vocals.

Songs like "Barnburner," "Predation," "Adversary," "Rapture," "Rattle Me Bones," and "Will To Bleed" deliver the kind of aggressive metallic hardcore that defined much of the 2000s underground scene.

The original album concludes with "Old Scratch," a memorable closer that introduces a melodic chorus without abandoning the band's crushing metallic foundation.

PRODUCED BY ANDREAS MAGNUSSON

Behind the controls was Andreas Magnusson, whose production and engineering credits include an impressive list of heavy-music artists:

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER • HASTE THE DAY • OH, SLEEPER • FIT FOR A KING • IMPENDING DOOM

Working alongside The Agony Scene, Magnusson helped capture the album's aggressive guitar attack, explosive rhythms, and hard-hitting intensity.

THREE BONUS COVERS!

Both Brutal Planet Records editions expand Get Damned to 14 TRACKS, combining the original eleven-song album with three punk-rock covers.

These recordings connect the band's metallic aggression to its punk and hardcore roots. The HIMSA guest appearance makes the expanded edition especially interesting for collectors of 2000s metallic hardcore.
